Friday: The atmosphere of Orgullo Gay.
Saturday: World Pride 2017 parade!
Sunday: Waking up with no alarm. It’s a rarity and I can’t wait to do it more often.
Monday: Wakeboarding and boating.
Tuesday: Going down to the lake with the girls and playing in the water.
Wednesday: Arriving back in Madrid in time to celebrate my friend’s birthday with her.
Thursday: Washing my hair.
Friday: The happiness of everyone at the engagement party.
We spent Saturday and Sunday at the lake house. It feeling like summer officially started made my weekend.
The housekeeper has been down the last day and a half. Throughout this time, I’ve been trying to cheer her up. This afternoon, it seemed everything was back to normal and she was in a better mood. It’s nice that we are joking around again.
I just couldn’t pick between two moments from yesterday.
1. The baby being smiley and happy as soon as she woke up.
2. Someone telling me I’m beautiful because of my cool soul.
Making dinner just makes me so happy sometimes when I see the finished product.
Receiving great news from one of my aunts in Brasil. It’s something that has been a long time coming for her and I’m super happy for her!
My host mom, the kids and I went out for an evening walk and the toddler was in a very good mood and acting silly.
Yesterday my host mom asked if I wanted to stay with them forever. It made me happy inside. And then she asked me if I wanted to come back in November.
The toddler woke up happy after her nap today.
I know we’ve been together for the past week, but I’m really happy that we got to spend yesterday together.
